PTG Central Inflation Systems

Armstrong Tyres is the national distributor of the German made PTG central inflation systems.

Radial tyres offer huge advantages in agricultural work, but it's important to operate them at the correct pressures. Unlike bias plies, radial pressure requirements vary significantly depending on load, draft, speed and surface.

These conditions can change quickly and that's where PTG's central inflation systems come into their own. The German company is a world leader in "on the go" tyre pressure control. Its systems are fitted as original equipment by Mercedes Benz, Unimog, MAN and Claas to name a few.

Operating radial agricultural tyres at the correct pressure for the conditions can reduce fuel consumption by 10% and tyre wear by 30%. Compaction is also reduced, whilst ride and operator comfort are dramatically improved.
